Which Agent Builder(s)? Poll

A lot of companies are using several Agent builder tools

When the Deep Research (agent) team at OpenAI were just this week asked about the biggest use cases for AI they all resoundingly responded “agents”.

The state of the market regarding agents puts tremendous pressure on the major tech SaaS vendors like Salesforce, Google, Microsoft, ServiceNow and Atlassian to name a few. They are caught in a vortex of being presented with a very large opportunity coupled with the very large risk of becoming obsolete if they do not successfully pursue this opportunity.

So expect all of the major technology vendors to be aggressively selling their agent builder tools to every enterprise.

But how many agent builder tools will each organisation support? And by what criteria would they choose them?

In a recent newsletter I offered a three tier division of agent builder tools by sophistication of the use cases they enable. The Deep Research OpenAI interview talks about the model itself being optimised for the agent use case [below for those interested]. Which may suggest that any agent builder could merely be a front-end to a specialised model at the tier 1 (more sophisticated) end of the spectrum.

Another way to look at it is by the data sources or tools that they natively connect to, or are known for. For example, Agentforce is natively connected to the Salesforce customer data ecosystem and so easily augments that existing customer data and feature set.

It would be great to hear from you on this. Which agent builder tool are you primarily using?

Voting will then take you to a screen with a comment section, so please add any other thoughts you have there. If you don’t currently use any builder tools, please select the tool you expect to use.

Which agent builder tool do you mostly (or expect to) use?
